Cursed by T.L Brown

 

Cursed is the first book in the Devil Roses series by TL Brown (adult version) or Tara Brown (YA version). I have the adult version so that is what the review on. That being said this is an 18+ book.

 

Amiee James is in her last year of school and should be worried about normal things. Not still getting over the death of a loved one. But when she still feels the presence of them how can she move on?

Little does she know that it isn't her loved one but Aleksander. Who has to help the victims of his manic father move on from grief. While trying to be a normal high school girl Amiee happen to almost become a victim of the serial rapist/murderer. She gets terribly sick and has to change. She becomes a Soul Sucker and Amiee's story begins.

 

 

This book is full of a back and forth love triangle, mystery, and chock full of the paranormal. It does end in a happily ever after. But in the world of the Devil Roses nothing is certain.

If you enjoy paranormal books this one is a definite read!
